KittoTV

Privacy Policy

Effective November 3, 2026. KittoTV is made by Kitto Byte.

The short version: the KittoTV app collects nothing about you. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What you enter stays on your device and, if you leave iCloud sync on, in your own iCloud account. The only information we ever receive is what you choose to email us.

What the app stores on your device

None of this is sent to us.

Where the app connects

KittoTV connects only to the servers you add, and to the addresses those servers point to, such as stream, guide and poster or logo images. Those servers belong to your provider, not to us, and they receive what any player sends them, such as your account login and your device's network address. Their privacy practices are theirs. Some providers use plain http addresses, which are not encrypted; whether yours is depends on the address you enter.

We run no servers for the app, so we do not see which sources you add or what you watch.

iCloud sync

Where you're signed in to iCloud, the app syncs your sources and their logins, favorites, and watch progress between your Apple devices. You can turn this off in Settings, under iCloud Sync. The data is kept in your private iCloud database. It is stored in your iCloud account, and it is end-to-end encrypted if you use Advanced Data Protection. We have no access to it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Setting up from your phone

The "Use Your Phone" screen lets you type a login on your phone. While that screen is open, the app serves a single page on your local network behind a long random link shown as a QR code. Nothing is sent outside your network. It stops after a source is added, after ten minutes, or when you close the screen.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details or name. The app checks with Apple, on your device, whether you own the unlock and when you first got the app. We receive no information from this.

Information from Apple

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may give us crash reports and aggregated usage statistics. These do not identify you and we use them only to fix problems. Apple also gives us aggregated sales reports.

When you email us

If you write to support@kittotv.com or privacy@kittotv.com, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to answer you. Messages arrive through our email forwarding service and are kept in our mailbox, and our replies are sent through an email delivery service. We keep a conversation only as long as we need it to help you, and delete it when you ask. Please don't send passwords or full stream addresses, which contain logins.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads, external fonts or scripts. Like any web server, the service that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as your network address and the pages requested.

Children

KittoTV is not directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone. The restriction PIN lets a parent hide categories on a device, but KittoTV doesn't decide what your provider offers.

Your choices

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Changes that affect how we handle your information will also be described in the app's release notes.
